A popular artificial lake with water temperatures of around 25 degrees celsius all year round.
The lake allows public access for sailing, boating and other recreational water sports all year round.
On the shore of the lake is the hazelwood pondage caravan park which is a popular holiday spot during the warmer months.
Also around the lake there is park land, a pony club, boat launching areas and camp sites.
